Unnatural Disasters is a documentary web series that investigates the discrimination and violence faced by LGBT people in the wake of natural disasters. Over 15 episodes the series exposes these injustices by visiting disaster sites and revealing the harrowing and inspiring stories of the people affected. It is the “unnatural disaster” that is created by humans in the wake of nature’s devastation.
Unnatural Disasters was filmed in Cape Breton (Canada), New Orleans (United States of America), Port-Au-Prince (Haiti) and Auckland (New Zealand).
